DIY tshirt scarves. Super easy and adds a little loveliness to your day. I have also done these as a craft for my MOP’s group, and it was a hit with the ladies!

DIY Sharpie Colored Bag
You see a lot of tie-dye projects on Pinterest using sharpie, but I prefer silk to the cotton projects you more often encounter. Silk is much more agreeable to being dyed and then manipulated for the tie-dye effect.
To do this project, simply color the bag any color(s) you prefer, in a pattern, leaving some white areas for the colors to run together, and then finally use rubbing alcohol to disperse the color. A paintbrush works great, and I bought a special higher diluted rubbing alcohol so look for one that is the most concentrated. Throw it in the dryer to heat set once you are done!

MOPs 2013
I have been working on crafts for my MOPs group since I am returning as the craft chair this year, and I just got my first vase done for our table centerpieces. Our theme this year is "What a Beautiful Mess," and to go along with that our group decided to do group names and decorations with cleaning items.

Teacher appreciation
My MOPs group helped put on a teacher appreciation lunch, and here are a few pictures of the tables set up with our gifts for their wonderful service. There are two groups that meet at the sponsoring church in Columbus on two different days, and both groups help put on the lunch. Our group made the scarves in the middle and the other group made the little cactus planters.
