I spy a baby snake, and it was in our garage a couple days ago. Even though it was so small, it still freaked me out trying to catch this thing. But I finally did with Lincoln's help and put it in this tote so I could release it in the woods somewhere.

VBS cowboy
One thing we always do in the summer is attend VBS at the church my husband grew up in, and where his parents still attend. They had a cowboy theme for the week, and these pictures of Lincoln show how much fun we had.
What's wrong with this picture?
As I packed for vacation earlier this summer, I noticed something strange in my drink bag. A drink bandit left evidence behind of a half drunk juice box, lol. And I loved finding it.
Summer vacation
Tomorrow marks Lincoln's first day back to preschool. This is his second preschool year, and I am happy that he seems excited to go back. Tomorrow is his snack day, and we bought some snack packs and baked chips to take.
This summer has been very fun and relaxing for us, although had it been a little hotter, we may have gotten more swimming in. Our pool only gets barely comfortable when the evening temperature dips below 70 degrees every night. When the water gets too chilly, we drive ten minutes away to a local recreation park called Ceraland. It's such a neat place, and I feel lucky to have it close by. It's situated on over a hundred acres and has an awesome pool with a shallow kid's area, putt-putt, camping, paddle boats, and lots more. When you are a stay-at-home momma with two kiddos it is definitely a great place to frequent.
And as for the most exciting announcement of the day, Adam and I have some awesome news! We are currently expecting our third child due mid-February and couldn't be happier. The kids have been really excited, which is fun to see, and they can't wait to help out and meet their new sibling. I am sure there will be some adjustments for us all, but Link and Trin seem to be at an ideal age to welcome home a new addition. I'm feeling so very thankful and blessed.
