Baby bunnies

My cousin brought over two baby bunnies to my grandma's house today and the kids loved them! Maybe we will have to get some of our own one day. Here are a few pictures of my son Lincoln and daughter Trinity and their cousin Landon.

Commons playground

Had a quick visit to the Commons playground this afternoon. Love that place! Met a new friend and the kids had a great time.

Flower box

Here is an artistic picture of a flower box I had planted last year with the help of the kids. After playing with some special effects I came up with this fun image.

Transformer boy

Lincoln loves his new Optimus Prime robot mask (from his grandma Nini) so much that he actually fell asleep in it this afternoon.

Crocs

I love these little Candace Crocs I bought for my daughter Trinity. A couple days ago at my in-laws Easter celebration she lost one. We all searched the house over from top to bottom until my husband and I finally gave in and went home with only her right shoe. I contemplated going ahead and ordering another pair to get us by because they are practically the only shoes she will wear and I was convinced it would be awhile before the lonely croc would be found. Thankfully I did not have to follow through, because my father-in-law showed up at our house this morning bright and early after finding her purple shoe out in the middle of their yard. How they ended up out there I don't know, but I am just happy to have the pair together again.

Peeking flowers

After living in our home for two and a half years, I am finally getting some flowers established. When we first moved, there were absolutely no plants, but I’m thankful for family members who have shared their plants with me and the few plants I’ve been able to track down for purchase.

Mushroom hunting

We finally made it out into the woods and hunted up some morels! My husband and I found about fifteen. It's a bit less than what we normally find, but this season seems a little sparse in our normal go-to spots. And the season as a whole has started much earlier than normal since our winter has been so mild this year.
